Foundational Pillars of my Faith, the Journey Begins

Introduction: My New Assignment Concerning My Faith

I have been assigned a task by the Ruach Ha’Qodesh! This task requires me to embark on a deep, personal journey of faith. While praying, I realized that the foundations of my faith were not as solid as I had thought. Furthermore, most of my beliefs were inherited from my childhood, shaped by others rather than my own experiences. Therefore, I’m thrilled to share this intimate and personal journey with you as I explore the foundational pillars of my faith.

New Creation, New Understanding

My journey is a thrilling adventure with Ruach Ha’Qodesh (Mother) revealing new and exciting insights to me daily. Since I am a new creation in Yashua, my soul and spirit can be transformed. This resulting transformation has brought me new wisdom and understanding. Consequently, Mother instructed me to revisit the scriptures in light of my recent experiences. This path of discovery truly excites me! Moreover, Father expects us to be able to reiterate what we believe, why we believe it, and where these beliefs came from. Therefore, He expects me to be familiar with the foundational pillars of my faith.

Where to Start Finding the Pillars of My Faith

I asked Father where I should begin to establish the pillars of my faith.  Mother whispered 1 Peter.  This was very interesting to me, as I was in the middle of designing a Bible study based on the life of Peter.  I had shelved this project for a season.  It may be time to revisit the shelved Peter Project.  Kepha (Peter) has always held a special place in my heart.  If I had been a boy, my name would have been Peter.

My Intentions

To begin, I intend to summarize what I read, highlighting what I learned.  Please don’t mistake my interpretation as absolute truth. I am simply showing you what I’ve learned.  You should ask the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha’Qodesh) for wisdom and truth.  Let her teach you and help you learn.  “But the anointing you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him. “1 John 2:27

Side Note on The Ruach Ha’Qodesh

I just wanted to share with you why I call the Holy Spirit’ Mother’.  All renderings of the Holy Spirit in the Hebrew scriptures are feminine.  I recently learned that when Jerome translated the Vulgate around 500 AD, He translated it from Greek.  In Greek, the word for wind and Breath is neutral. This gendered translation impacts our understanding of the Holy Spirit. So, they translated all the “she” and “her” into a neuter form.  Then, taking the neuter form of the word for wind and breath from Greek, Jerome translated it into the Latin word for wind and breath, into a masculine form.

Word Integrity Unimportant to Jerome

Now Jerome knew this, and he said it didn’t matter cuz he believed there is no male or female in the spirit.  Yet when the spirit was referred to as the Spirit of Truth or the Spirit of Wisdom, she and her are always used.  Hmmmm; Makes me wonder why Jerome didn’t think it would matter to maintain the femininity of The Ruach Ha’Qodesh, but did maintain the femininity of the Spirit of Wisdom and Faith.

What is going on here?

The question is why? Naturally, it makes sense to me that we have a mother, a father, and a big brother. Furthermore, since we are created in their image, it logically follows that earthly families would resemble the heavenly one. Indeed, time and time again we see this divine pattern repeated — first the original established in Heaven, then reflected here on the earth plane.

The pattern continues here on earth. Everything the Word created has been distorted and perverted by the serpent of old. Specifically, the serpent wants us to be confused about familial relationships and their boundaries. Consequently, the serpent continually hides ancient documents or deems them false, causing humans to believe falsehoods about who we are and how we fit into this world. One of these deceptions portrays Mother as someone other than our nurturing and helping Mother. Because of Father’s protective nature, He commands us to never blaspheme her!

This divine protection mirrors earthly relationships. Here on earth, it is normal for a human father to say, “Say what you like about me or my son, but keep your mouth shut when it comes to my woman.” Similarly, this is precisely why we are not to blaspheme Mother — Father is being protective of her. Meanwhile, the old evil serpent works hard to distort our understanding of who the Holy Spirit is. Once again, we see humans mirroring Father and his values, even if they don’t fully realize it. I encourage you to consider these concepts and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to discern the truth for yourself.

Feminine Characteristics

Here is a fact, all the references to the character of the Holy Spirit display feminine qualities. The first quality is related to being a helper. Just as Father gave us the Holy Spirit as a helper, Eve was taken out of Adam and given to him as a helper.  The Holy Spirit nurtures us and reminds us to walk in obedience. My role as a mother was to nurture my children and teach them to obey.  The similarities are endless.

Childhood Thoughts and My Faith

Even as a little girl, it seemed right that I had a heavenly Father, a heavenly Mother, and Big Brother Jesus. Who saved all his siblings from Hellfire and eternal separation from our amazing Family outside of time and space. This programmed knowledge is deep within my soul.

The Choice is Yours

Big brother sacrificed His life just for us! We have been given the incredible power of free will to decide whether we will accept this precious gift of salvation. Mother is there every step of the way to help us make wise choices full of truth if we let her.  Without her, we wouldn’t have enough clarity to choose the narrow way of life. I am always open to loving discussions. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message.

The First of many Foundational Pillars of my Faith

Based on my guided research I can now say that the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, the Holy Spirit being “Mother”, is one of the pillars of my faith.  I am grateful for the available information that enables me to research and uncover the truth. I am thankful to Mother for her help. Her assistance helped me grow in my faith. Her guidance led me to truth and wisdom.

Now, Back to Kepha Chapter 1

Father chose us based on His foreknowledge. The Ruach Ha’Qodesh pushes us towards sanctification. She does this by helping us walk in obedience to Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, and embracing the covering or atoning of His shed blood.

Blessings, Glory, and Honor

I love how they often begin their letters with this beautiful blessing.  Blessings to Elohiym (Father) of Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, who is merciful and hope-giving. This is only possible because of the resurrection of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.  We, as a result, gain an extraordinary inheritance that will not become corrupted or defiled.  Our inheritance will never fade away. Everything in the earthly realm will wither.  Father protects our inheritance

Elohiym’s Great power keeps us safe and offers us salvation through faith.

The trials we experience have many surprising benefits. In fact, Father has instructed us in scripture to rejoice when we experience trials of our faith. Although these trials may sometimes be full of temptations, if we overcome them, we are told that the resulting effects will be more precious than gold! Moreover, this sweet victory will bring praise and honor to Father. Additionally, the trials will deepen our faith and demonstrate how much we are loved, ultimately resulting in stronger faith. Finally, when we resist and prevail over our trials, we will gain unspeakable joy, glory, and salvation of our souls.

When we have the continued assistance of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, it signifies salvation and testifies to Yahusha.  Without the Holy Spirit, truth will be obscure and difficult to comprehend.

Kepha (Peter) 1 Mentions these commands.

  1. Gird up your mind
  2. Be Sober
  3. Hope for Grace
  4. Walk in obedience
  5. Turn away from former lusts
  6. Be holy in all your conversations
  7. Love one another with a pure and fervent heart

Basic Facts Affecting My Faith From Kepha Chapter 1

  • Father judges us according to man’s work
  • We must have faith and hope in Yahshua
  • Truth (Ruach Ha’Qodesh) purifies our soul
  • We are born again by the Word of Elohiym

The Word of Yahuah endures forever, yielding the Besorah (Good News)

Why does this matter? Cause the things of this world (realm) all fade away…

Flesh=Grass

Glory of man=Flowers of Grass

Grass withers and flowers fade away.

So, the flesh body of man will wither away, and the glory of man will fade away.

Nothing from this realm lasts!!

Praise be to Father for making a way for us to leave this realm and join with our family outside of time and space.

Well, that is what I learned from reading 1 Peter Chapter 1.  After I finish the book of 1 Peter, I will organize the foundational pillars of my faith that I glean from 1 Peter. You will be the first to know!

Here’s a more detailed explanation:

  • Latin Grammar:.Opens in new tabIn the Latin language, the word “spiritus” (meaning “spirit”) is a masculine noun.
  • Vulgate Translation:.Opens in new tabJerome’s Vulgate translation, which became the standard Latin Bible in the Western Church, followed this grammatical rule.
  • Linguistic Influence:.Opens in new tabThe masculine grammatical form of “spiritus” in Latin likely led to the use of masculine pronouns (“he,” “him”) to refer to the Holy Spirit in the translation.
  • Impact on Theology:.This translation choice, while rooted in grammar, has had theological implications, influencing how the Holy Spirit is perceived in some Western traditions.
  • Hebrew and Greek Alternatives: In Hebrew (ruach), the word for “spirit” is feminine, and in Greek (pneuma), it is neuter. This highlights the contrast in how different languages treat the Holy Spirit’s gender.
