Circles Within Circles

By | Published | No Comments

Every shadow, every whisper

Every lost word or vision

Where does it go? To whom does it exist

One minute here and one minute gone

Then returned as if it were never gone at all

Blessings come, love comes, life comes.

Blindness exists, hardness and emptiness just are

For whom does it decide, but our Maker?

The angels, the principalities of this extensive world

Circles within circles within circles within circles

Life exists within life, which is life

One not without another, we are

Not alone we exist as one with many parts

Just as God is multidimensional

We will soon be

Oh, my precious Jesus

What do you have in store?

My soul yearns, and my heart aches

To see and to know you more

Our minds are so finite

Yet there are universes within themselves

All majestic, all created by your utterance

The horizon is approaching

Far removed from the presence of time

As you pass through realms of existence

You become your own distant voice

You seek, yet it’s not yet there

You hear and you heard it before

You know, yet it is unknown

Far be it from me to doubt and wonder

Your mystery baffles me

Your control consumes me
